The Hottest Richmond Neighborhoods of 2020
There are so many wonderful neighborhoods in our area, but some really stand out. Considering location, affordability and home quality, I’ve selected my favorite of this year’s up and coming neighborhoods. You certainly can’t go wrong with any of them!
Tahoe Way at Seven Oaks
If you’re looking for North Richmond and Madison County’s newest and hottest 1 acre lot development, Tahoe Way at Seven Oaks is the neighborhood for you!
You’ll get tons of privacy with the larger lots, many trees, and abundant wildlife. You're surrounded by woods and rolling hills all around. People love living here because of its location - you get the country feel while still being so close to the convenience of the city. Cities, in fact. You'll be close to Richmond, Lexington, and Winchester, and in Madison county. Minimum square feet for a new home is 1400 sq ft, and these homes will be on a septic system.
It’s easily accessed from Exit 97, turn left onto Simpson Lane & Seven Oaks is on your right at the 4 way stop or from Boonesboro Road, turn left onto Simpson Road.

Shiloh Cove is an intimate neighborhood with mostly 1/2 acre lots in a great location! It’s surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and trees, giving the feeling of privacy near the city. Most houses currently built are 2-story homes, and the neighborhood does have sidewalks and street lights - such a plus! All of the homes are 3-sided brick homes with the other side having a vinyl option. Payne is the builder of the homes, and you know that you’re getting a great level of construction, extras and service with Payne. For example, granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath as well as tile backsplash in the kitchen come standard in Payne built homes.
Shiloh Cove is located between Exits 97 on the north side and 95 on the south side off of highway 75.

If you don’t want a large lot to take care of and you love the look of the Double D neighborhood, you should definitely check out Dove’s Landing!
It is in a great location and the neighborhood has flat lots, sidewalks and street lights. There are woods surrounding the neighborhood and planned green space for the nature lovers.
The minimum square footage for a ranch style home is 1200 square feet, and for a story and a half and two story homes, the minimum square footage is 1400 square feet. There is city sewer in this neighborhood.
Dove’s Landing is located right off 52 East, just 4.5 miles from the bypass.

If location location location is your priority, then Heritage Place is the choice for you! Located within walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and a movie theater, Heritage Place is the perfect choice if you like to be close to town and near the action.
This approximately 10 year old neighborhood features sidewalks and street lights and the minimum square footage is 1300 square feet. It’s a great neighborhood for first time home buyers and families! There are small hills and many trees surrounding the neighborhood, and there’s a brand new senior living facility inside the neighborhood. Houses are brick and vinyl, and Jeff Flynn is one of the builders. So cool that the streets are named after cities in Australia!
Heritage Place is located at I75 and Highway 87.
