Here are some of the MARCUMsold Team's favorite things to do in-and-around Richmond, KY!
What: Bourbon Branch- Summer Music Series
Where: 2091 Lantern Ridge Drive, Richmond
When: Friday Nights 7-10PM, through August 23rd
Details: Join us for a fun night of music performed by Bourbon Branch! Bourbon Branch play outlaw county music.


What: Bent Penny Band 4th. Annual Pennys for Paws Car Show
Where: Richmond Centre, 2091 Lantern Ridge Drive, Richmond
When: Saturday, July 27th, 4PM-9PM (original date was June 22nd, but had to be rescheduled due to weather)
Details: All proceeds go to the Humane Society, Animal League for Life of Madison County.

What: Farmers Market at EKU
Where: EKU Alumni Coliseum Parking Lot & Lowes
When: Thursdays & Saturdays 9AM-1PM
Details: Come on out to the Madison County Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9am until 1! Take a look at our Chevy Silverados we'll have parked there as well! Eat your veggies!

What: Hops & Vine Festival
Where: South Second Street Business District, Richmond
When: July 20th, 3PM-10PM
Details: Kentucky craft breweries, six hours of live music, local food, local art, all outdoors in Downtown Richmond. Free and open to the public.

What: 5th Annual Christmas in July Party!
Where: Madison Garden Bar & Grill, 152 N Madison Ave, Richmond
When: Thursday, July 25th, 7PM-1AM
Details: Every year this party gets even better! This year we will have Country Boy Brewing Company joining us to bring Christmas to all the good guys and gals who want to party like its Christmas in July! We also have a very special guest artist performing for your listening pleasure.....KRIS BENTLEY!
AND of course! We cannot forget the star of the show...slightly Inebriated SANTA! Get your photo with Santa as he passes out Christmas gifts and cheer!

What: Trivia Night at Elmwood Mansion
Where: Elmwood Mansion
When: Thursday, July 25, from 6 PM – 9 PM
Details: It’s time for our second annual EKU Trivia Night at the historic Elmwood Mansion lawn! Gather teams of your smartest friends and family and join us for a night of fun. The event will be hosted on Thursday, July 25th from 6-9pm.
At trivia night, you will get to tour the first level of the Elmwood Mansion, purchase dinner, deserts, or drinks from our food trucks, participate in a raffle, and compete to win prizes as a team. Tables and chairs will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own blankets or chairs. Food trucks will be in attendance, including Apollo Pizza, Straight From Texas Bar B Que, Kyle’s kitchen, Kona Ice of the Bluegrass, and M&D Catering.
Tours of the historic home will be available at 6pm with the quizzing to begin at 7pm. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required - maximum of 8 players per team. The best team name will win a prize! Parking will be available in both lots to the right and left of Elmwood off of Lancaster Ave.

What: TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Where: EKU Alumni Coliseum Parking Lot, Richmond
When: Saturday, August 3, from 10AM – 2PM
Details: Madison County Home Builders Association presents Touch-A-Truck, a unique, one-day experience that gives families an up-close look at their favorite “big trucks” and the opportunity to meet the people that protect, serve, and build the Madison County area. 10-11 AM is no horn hour.


What: Tracks for Packs 5K Run/Walk
Where: Richmond Centre 2091 Lantern Ridge Dr, Richmond
When: Saturday, September 14, from 8AM – 10:00AM
Details: Presented by Eastside Community Church to benefit the Madison County Backpack Program.
The Madison County Backpack Program provides more than 1,700 backpacks full of food that go home with children over the weekend to provide nourishment that is needed when the children are not in school.
Race winners will be awarded at the end of the race. The Madison County school that brings in the largest attendance will be awarded $500.

What: Bluegrass Regional Walk to End Alzheimer's
Where: Berea Community High School, Berea
When: Saturday, September 14, from 9AM-12PM
Details: Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!
When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community. The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness.

What: Kidfest
Where: Irvine McDowell Park - 345 Lancaster Ave, Richmond
When: September 13 & 14
Details: FRIDAY September 13th:
At 6:00pm, the Parks Department will start preparing for a Movie in the Park. There will be activities partnering with Madison County Library available while we wait for it to get dark. The movie will begin at dark. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be rescheduled for Saturday.
SATURDAY September 14th:
Kids Fest will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Games, activities, kid’s stage entertainment, business/vendors booths, petting zoo and food vendors will be present at Irvine McDowell Park during the event. This is also the rain date for the movie.
